Dear free men
Heard men take pride in providing
While we stayed in hiding
While we actually provided
With support, with kids, with patience, with a family
Just for men to say “ these are just rules abided”.
When health, wealth, blessing all are women
Why are these men tryna keep us hidden–
From opportunities, independence, our souls
And restrict us to “gratifying” roles!
Outdo them once and we are in pieces
Outdo them twice and our breath ceases.
Behind every successful man there's a woman
Cause they stole from their woman
Ripped off the soul of their woman
Why our woman?
Do you hate us women…?
Or are you scared of us women
Dear free men?
