Meet Ishita, a core believer of books being better than movies, and she won’t shy away from convincing you that it’s true. Currently pursuing Economics, she’s an extrovert until her social battery runs out! Her diverse music taste and love for thrillers is well placated in her charismatic personality. As president, we’re sure she’ll absolutely rock!
RAJESHWARI SHELKE
Vice President
Meet Rajeshwari, a 19-year-old college student and bookworm extraordinaire. Her reading list has a vast collection of books; she loves film trivia, reading, and a good cup of chai to keep life colourful. Being a social media maven and event organizer, she pulls off the balancing act between academics, personal interests, and social commitments with limitless energy. Rajeshwari is a caring friend, ready to lend a helping hand, and her writing desk showcases this chaotic creativity.
SONAM GUPTA

Meet Sonam, the book club's down-to-earth and chill Gen Sec, is a psychology honors student who blends empathy with insight. She aims to make meetings a cozy escape, fostering genuine connections and vibrant discussions. When she's not reading or studying, Sonam enjoys nature, experimenting with recipes, and having heartfelt chats with friends. She's excited to lead and befriend the group, creating a literary haven for all.

Mohona humorously identifies as the hypothetical love-child of Monjulika and Bellatrix, with a mind and spirit resonating with characters like Sirius Black, Eurus Holmes, Jake Peralta, Loki, and Todd Anderson. A self-described mix of marathon-runner and sloth, Mohona's mission is to bedazzle through social media and graphics, bringing together a chaotic yet loving team at Unabridged. Passionate about books and vibrant discussions, Mohona is excited for the journey ahead, aiming to make Unabridged's Insta truly chef's kiss.
ANKITA JAIN

​Meet Ankita, a coffee and book aficionado, devouring fiction and romance novels. As an extroverted introvert, she enthusiastically engages in conversations. Her musical tastes span from Taylor Swift to K-pop to Bollywood hits. Ankita enjoys true crime, historical dramas, and documentaries, and is always up for deep conversations, fueling her passion for psychology. She connects over chai and rain, embracing life's beauty!
VANSHITA SHARMA

Vanshita is a radiant ray of sunshine who brightens lives with her warm smile and fuzzy hugs! A coffee-loving bibliophile, she's a romantic at heart who draws inspiration from Elizabeth Bennet's strength. With a 'Rory Gilmore-esque' academic drive, Vanshita is a supportive friend,offering comfort, guidance, and encouragement. She's also a Bollywood enthusiast, grooving to its rhythms and bringing joy to everyone around her. Her kindness, empathy, and dedication make her a treasured confidante and if there is anyone out there who could light up the room and bring a smile on your face and a dimple on your cheek, it's her!

Vasvi, a bookworm at heart, is an introvert with a hidden social butterfly. She finds solace in the quiet corners of the library, transforming into a chatterbox once comfortable. She's the perfect quiz partner with a penchant for singing and sitcoms. Winters find her cozy in a Spiderwoman hoodie but the promise of food can always lure her outdoors.

Ayushi is a book lover with a penchant for fiction. From classic literature to thrilling mysteries, her bookshelf is a diverse world. As a Potterhead and Joe March admirer, she holds dear her book collection. Beyond reading, she's an avid TV watcher, particularly fond of The Office. With a sweet tooth for mishti doi and a love for architectural design, Ayushi finds solace in books and aesthetics.
NANDANA MENON
Nandana has been a bookworm since childhood, often choosing books over homework. As a psychology student, she is fascinated by stories that delve into the human mind. She believes reading has the power to transform lives and hopes her work in the book club helps others find impactful reads. Her wish is for everyone to discover a book that feels like home yet challenges and broadens their perspectives in ways they never imagined. Books are her escape, refuge, and guide.

If you ever want to see a pool of talents then RAGINI is the perfect choice . She is academically into Journalism but in a true sense, she's a box of secrets. Being an Ayushmaan Khurana fan, she too is a multi-skilled person who loves to write , draw , sing ,crochet and the list goes on ! She is a perfect example of an Old school lover who prefers to live in reality. Her form of expression lies in scribbling lines of poetry. You will always find her ears buzzing with music or observing small yet pretty moments .

Pragya loves lending a helping hand and finds humor in everyday life, much like Chandler Bing. Her love for books is profound, and she draws inspiration from strong female characters such as Rory Gilmore and Jo March. Period dramas captivate her, and she enjoys capturing life's small beauties through photography. Classic Bollywood tunes add a musical touch to her life. When not immersed in a novel or a period drama, Pragya finds joy in the little things, learning life lessons along the way.
KARISHMA MISHRA
It will be unfair to talk about generosity without mentioning KARISHMA. She's truly a listener and understands to solve the intertwined issues. She is alcoholic about reading books along with eyes and dives into fiction once she starts a book. She can make you happy through her poems . Being a Thala and SRK fan she immerses herself in cricket and the fantasy love of 90s. If you don't have someone to hang out with, she is an excellent company .Who can find meanings in Unsaid words? Well, the answer is Karishma.
SAMPURNA CHAKRABORTY
Sampurna is a dynamic blend of literature, Bollywood, and music. As an ambivert, she can be lively and enthusiastic like Emma Woodhouse or introspective and reserved like Hazel Grace. Jane Austen and John Green's romantic novels are her favorite escapes. While poetry is her strength, she often feels limited to writing sad poems, but her versatility allows her to explore a range of genres. Sampurna thrives on desserts, reading, engaging conversations, and occasionally doing nothing.

Shruti is a passionate bibliophile with a keen eye for detail. Like a naturalist, she meticulously explores the intricacies of each book. As a lover of words, she finds solace and inspiration in poetry. She cherishes every emotional connections and memories she has with her family. Her ambivert nature allows her to thrive in both social and solitary settings. When not engrossed in books or writing, she enjoys the music of the 90s and as a cricket enthusiast she loves cheering for her favourite player, Rohit Sharma
ARUSHI BHARDWAJ
Full of rich culture and heritage, our girl Arushi here is constantly daydreaming of the day she gets Belle’s library while sitting in her room in Jaipur. Spotting cars and deciphering everything about them is like a full time job she has! Manifesting her inner Rory Gilmore, she is always up for a conversation about the surrealist movement and Dali’s contribution like a true literature student she is! Arushi loves art that makes you feel warm and fuzzy and she wants to make people feel the same way with her mindful verses!!
DEVANSHI TYAGI
Devanshi is a voracious reader and an avid writer, and this line 'It's only words, and words are all I have.’ from one of her favorite songs, is a testament to the magic she believes words hold. Non-fiction, sociological texts, and history intrigue her, and poetry helps her distill emotions into powerful expressions. Through her writings, she aims to offer balanced perspectives, exploring diverse viewpoints that spark thought to help understand life's intricacies better. She forever believes that words have a magic in them that can change worlds. Devanshi’s unique way of thinking will infinitely intrigue us!
Yashila Vikas Gupta
An extrovert and social butterfly, Yashila is a free-spirited bookworm who embraces challenges with open arms. With a 'ray of sunshine' attitude, she balances being both responsible and carefree, making her a joy to be around. When not immersed in books, she enjoys watching her favorite sitcoms, Friends and The Big Bang Theory. Her immense empathy and compassion allow her to deeply connect with characters, and she can often be found shedding tears while reading a John Green novel.
TANYA SHAH
Meet Tanya, a romantic at heart whose thoughts serve as her poetic muse. Though she isn't particularly fond of talking, her way of communicating is through books as she immerses herself in the whirlwind of fantasies and fiction. When she's not lost in a book or crafting romantic verses, you'll find her binge watching Gilmore Girls, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Whipping up a batch of cookies gives her as much joy as a perfect plot twist in a novel. So now you know who to approach if you're craving something sweet .Thriving on life's sweet and unexpected moments, that's Tanya for you all!
AADYA GUPTA
Meet Aadya, a true romantic at heart. She dreams of a love story straight out of a movie, complete with background music. After a long day, you’ll find her curled up with a book and a cup of noodles, diving into her favorite "enemies to lovers" tales. She’s endlessly curious, always on a quest for wisdom, often quoting Socrates' "I know that I know nothing" with a dramatic flair. Aadya loves watching shows in any language and is always up for a chat about them. She's got a great sense of humor and isn’t shy about shedding a tear or two. Aadya enjoys a little gossip, justifying it with a wink and a nod to Rachel Green from "Friends." And yes, she knows she talks a lot—but that's just part of her charm.
Prisha Nanda
Prisha has loved books since her mother starting reading them to her at 6 months old, making her a master at fangirling. She's an introvert who will talk your ear off once she's friends with you, and will most likely influence you into consuming her favorite media. She loves listening to music, watching Formula 1, writing, painting and making creative playlists like it's her full-time job. If lost, you'll probably find her making heart eyes at the animals on campus
